Marina was born in Toronto, Canada and raised in Athens. She studied interior design at Vakalo School of Art and Design, nonetheless from an early age the charm of jewels fascinated her and gained her interest. Marina following the completion of her BA in Interior Design furthered her studies by attending a postgraduate course with a specialization in jewellery manufacturing. In the year 2007 she initialized her professional engagement to jewellery by creating handmade jewels.
Jewels “7pm” are exclusively available in selected stores all around Greece.
Marina did not opt for ‘7pm’ as her brand name unintentionally. It is a pun of number 7 and the initials of her name pm. It also symbolizes the start of the day, a period which is actually the most creative time of the day for Marina Panagiotoulia.
The main sources of inspiration for Marina are human relations, the human body, nature and their interaction. However, she is very often inspired by the geometric urban landscape in which she lives and works. Marina finds creating both organic and austere geometrical forms particularly fascinating, since they add value to the feminine curves of a woman’s body that they embellish.
Consequently, every creation of Marina is a colourful ‘game’ played between childness and femininity which are defined by distinctive sumptuousness and incomparable grace.
